Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have announced that Marvel Cosmic Invasion’s second DLC pack, The Siege of Castle Doom, will be hitting PC and consoles on November 10th, 2026. Releasing roughly a month before Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters, the DLC pack will introduce both Doctor Doom and Sue Storm (Invisible Woman) as playable characters for the campaign. It will also come packed with a brand-new game mode, which Tribute is keeping under wraps for now.

Doom and Sue will have unique voice lines and movesets in the DLC, bringing a different experience for players who have completed the campaign a few times already. Compatible with all characters currently in the game, this racks Cosmic Invasion’s roster up to a healthy 19 playable characters. That’s quite the cast for a beat-em-up.

My guess for what the new mode will be is likely what was added to Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge: a survival mode. Both games received DLC a year after their initial release which let players tackle and endless number of levels against ever-increasing odds. Mixed with some RPG stat progression and unlockable moves, it was a great way to engage with both titles after exhausting the campaign modes. I can’t imagine Tribute wouldn’t want the same thing in Cosmic Invasion, which has a roster big enough to do something truly unique with.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. Its first DLC pack, Cyclops and The Thing, is also available.
