PEAK, the viral mountaineering game from Aggro Crab and Landfall Games, is now out on consoles featuring online crossplay. Originally released for PC via Steam in June 2025, PEAK is a co-op climbing game where you and up to three friends try to scale a mountain in hopes of being rescued from the island you’ve crash-landed on. Kind of like Lost if everyone on that show actually worked together – there’s even a plethora of weird, unexplained things going on with PEAK’s island.
PEAK features a new island map each day, with a variety of biomes to travel, allowing players to tackle a fresh new challenge with their friends. Speaking of friends, online play in PEAK is limited to friends-only, so you’re in control of who is helping (or hindering) you in your climb. Want to look snazzy while braving the elements? Scouts can be customized with unlockable cosmetics you can earn during your time climbing.
PEAK: Console Edition is out now on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, joining last year’s Steam release, and features online crossplay, so you can take on the climb with your friends and family no matter how they prefer to play.
