Link’s house in The Legend of Zelda is a pretty humble place, but when he’s got some valuables stored away in there, it’s understandable that he may get a bit nervous about some villager waltzing in unannounced and stealing his stuff. But one clever player has figured out the perfect way to prevent entry – and it involves a lot of explosives:

 

 

Yes, unlike many devices that players have cooked up involving complex Zonai contraptions, this is basically just strapping a bunch of bombs to a couple weapons, propping them by the door, and waiting for a hapless bystander to step inside. The result? A very big boom. The editing on the video really enhances the effect, too.

It may seem crude and inelegant, but hey, it gets the job done. We can’t wait to see what other wild mechanisms the playing populace come up with the terrify the local denizens of Hyrule.
