Not content with being the most expensive first party Switch game to date, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is poised to set another record upon its release: the largest file size of any first-party Nintendo Switch title. Tears of the Kingdom’s Nintendo eShop page lists the game at a relatively large 18.2 GB, 4 GB larger than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s 14.4 GB. Breath of the Wild certainly felt (and still feels) vast, so it’s exciting to wonder what the sequel’s larger file size has in store for us.
