Yesterday, a trailer was released for the upcoming “Chill Season 2022” of Splatoon 3, which will feature new stages, weapons, and modes. Besides the returning Flounder Heights, we also got a glimpse at a brand-new stage called Brinewater Springs, a level that appears to be based on a Japanese hot springs (onsen) town:
A new stage is coming to #Splatoon3 next season! It's called Brinewater Springs and it's hilly and packed with hot springs. Defend the high ground or risk it all to invade from below? The choice is yours! pic.twitter.com/saGrYX8gNR

The level appears pretty hilly, not quite vertically aligned like some other stages but bumpy enough that you can’t just navigate horizontally. You’ll also notice a number of bathing jellyfish in the background enjoying the hot springs. Honestly, I wish I was in their position.
Brinewater Springs should drop December 1st, along with the rest of Chill Season.
