Nintendo may have announced yesterday that Splatoon 3 demo Warp Pipe Pass reservations were being accepted, but that’s not all planned for PAX West 2022! Today on the My Nintendo site, a new announcement has been published discussing ways to get Platinum Points and special Nintendo VS-themed swag at the event.

Attendees of PAX West 2022 will want to have their My Nintendo QR Code ready each day when they stop by Nintendo’s booth (modeled after Splatoon 3’s Scorch Gorge). Scanning the QR Code will net you 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. If you go each day (September 2nd – 5th), that’s a total of 400 My Nintendo Platinum Points! Enough to get some swag from Nintendo’s online store, a variety of custom icon elements via Nintendo Switch Online, and other digital goodies on the My Nintendo site.

Now, if you’re planning on attending the big Splatoon 3 Enter the Splatlands Invitational 2022 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Cup 2022 at PAX Arena, checking in there will get you something different. While supplies last (distributed on a first-come, first-served basis), My Nintendo members can get a NintendoVS Cinch Bag.

Only one bag will be given out to each My Nintendo account holder.

Can’t make it to PAX West 2022? You can at least watch the Splatoon 3 Enter the Splatlands Invitational 2022 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Cup 2022 from the comfort of your own home on Monday, September 5th at approximately 1 p.m. PT | 4 p.m. ET via Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
