After several delays, it was a relief to finally receive concrete release date announcements from Bandai Namco for both North America and Japan recently. Alongside that exciting news, we were also given a look at the Japanese box art, and now we’ve been provided a glimpse at some really beautiful character art featuring characters from the game with their Digimon. Previously, we’d mostly been privy to quick shots of groups of characters, so it’s nice to finally see some focus on individual faces. After some quick introductions, we’re also treated to a little gameplay that includes battles and familiar key art from Survive.

The trailer is only available in Japanese at this time, but with the spotlight falling on visuals rather than text, you’ll no doubt walk away with a clearer look at the game!

Digimon Survive releases for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on July 28th, 2022 in Japan, and then on July 29th in North America. You can pre-order your copy for Switch on Amazon, and stay tuned for more news about the game as we get closer to its summer release!
