Good day, brothers and sisters of the parish. We are here today to venerate our lord puffball Kirby, hallowed be thy name, for his immeasurable grace and cuteness. We do that every day, of course, but today we have something to celebrate: Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the best-selling game of March for Nintendo platforms, the 3rd best selling of the month overall, and the 7th best selling game of the year so far. Praise be:

Only the absurdly and transcendentally popular Elden Ring and hot new car game Gran Turismo 7 bested our little pink deity, and those two are technically released on multiple platforms. The best-selling Nintendo games offer some more tidbits: Pokémon Legends: Arceus is still going strong, Square Enix’s Triangle Strategy had a solid debut at #4, and premier bisexual farming experience Rune Factory 5 squeaked in at #9. Overall the 12-month sales YTD barely budged in a way of any interest to us, though Elden Ring’s continued rise is truly staggering.
We can only hope Kirby’s holiness continues for next month. And all time. Praise be to the pink.
