Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the updated bundling of Mario Kart 8 with all its post-launch DLC and more, is now getting its own DLC. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack will bring 48 new tracks to the game, doubling the game’s total to an incredible 96 courses!

Nintendo has given the DLC  (which will be free for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers) its own dedicated page to keep tabs on all the additions. So far Wave 1, which includes two sets of four tracks for a total of eight, has been revealed here.

Golden Dash Cup

  • Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Toad Circuit (Mario Kart 7)
  • Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64)
  • Coconut Mall (Mario Kart Wii)

Lucky Cat Cup

  • Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Shroom Ridge (Mario Kart 7)
  • Sky Garden (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
  • Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour)

So far, both Mario Kart 7 and especially Mario Kart Tour are getting a lot of love. That makes a lot of sense for the mobile game, which is the only Mario Kart to release after 8 at this point. Expect more city courses to join this lineup in future waves, along with classic favorites from the entire series.

Wave 1 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack will start its engines on March 18th!
