Pokémon being transformed into near life-sized plushies and household goods isn’t anything new for fans and The Pokémon Company. It just isn’t as frequent one would think, especially with a 25th anniversary being celebrated this year. Plus, sometimes the results are rather subtle (like this year’s Pokémon Center x Karimoku collection in Japan). Luckily, there are eye-catching and hilarious transformations – the Metapod “sleeping bag” pod, the Gengar cushion and blanket set, and the Ditto sofa chair – and this December a new item will be joining their ranks.

From the makers of the previously mentioned Ditto sofa chair, gaze upon their next Pokémon sofa chair – Gengar!

Just like the Ditto sofa chair, the Gengar version costs ¥25,990 (about $226.14) and measures in at W920 x D820 x H800mm. The sofa is available for sale online via the Japanese branch of Rakuten and Cellutane, yet it won’t be shipped overseas. Sadly, for now, Gengar will be exclusive to Japan.
