The deluge of Nintendo-related anniversaries is never ending, and curating the lot is none other than Masahiro Sakurai. This really shouldn’t be a surprise, though, as the man has poured that kind of all-encompassing attention to the video game industry into each and every Super Smash Bros. title.

We’ve featured his screenshots many times in the past, but over the last couple weeks he managed to share nearly a dozen different anniversaries. These aren’t just fighter based games either, but ones that Mii Costumes and Assist Trophies cover, or even something extra creative for a certain on-rails photography game. Check them all out below and be sure to let us know your favorite!

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Monster Hunter

Pokkén Tournament

Super Metroid

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Kirby Super Star

Pokémon Snap

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! / Game Boy Advance

Mega Man Battle Network

Kid Icarus: Uprising

Sakurai shares some interesting details with a couple of these, specifically the two titles he directed himself. For Kirby Super Star, he mentions how it was the first game with hats for Kirby’s Copy Ability. That little detail continues to have a place in Smash, which has made Sakurai’s DLC development job just a little bit more difficult.

As for Kid Icarus: Uprising, he mentions how much fans would like a sequel or remake of the game. Sadly, it sounds like that would be difficult to do. But hey, we thought Pit would never fly again before, right?

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
