Last week, the 2nd World Count Challenge for Super Mario Bros. 35 was announced and it’s a tall order! Sure, taking out Bowser 3.5 million times was easy (so easy that the final “Game Over” count for King Koopa was 5.3 million!), so now Nintendo has us stomping on 350 million Goombas. Ow! Thankfully, like the first World Count Challenge, we’re getting a week-long Special Battle! that will help us tackle this giant Goomba-stack of a task.

From Monday, February 22nd, at 11 p.m. PT to Monday, March 1st, at 10:59 p.m. PT, the Special Battle! Goombas Galore! will be available. Only Courses 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-2, 5-1, 5-2, 6-2, and 8-1 will be active and you’ll see Goombas from start to flag pole!

Plus, Nintendo also shared the Top 10 players in North America from the previous Special Battle! Coin King Clash #4 in Super Mario Bros. 35.

Congratulations to those who reigned supreme and good luck to all this week in completing the 2nd World Count Challenge!
