With Robocop, Joker, and Spawn having joined the Mortal Kombat 11 roster, it’s very clear that the series is going all in with its guest fighters. It doesn’t get much bigger than this, though: Two of the biggest action icons of the ‘80s and ‘90s, John Rambo and the Terminator, face off in the latest trailers for the Ultimate edition of the game, complete with their Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger movie likenesses respectively.

These characters have been confirmed for a little while already, but watching the two fight each other and exchange dialogue is a real treat, and is sure to help settle some decades-long debates among action movie buffs. Sylvester Stallone himself even reprises his role as the traumatized army vet, and while Arnie couldn’t return to voice his iconic killing machine, the stand-in actor does a fair job.

Please note: If it wasn’t already obvious to those of you with even the slightest familiarity with the Mortal Kombat series, the following videos contain extreme violence and gore, as well as a little profanity.

If you’re Team Rambo and want to see old John draw first blood on more of the Mortal Kombat cast, you can catch his own dedicated gameplay trailer from last month. If you’d rather see them terminated, you can also watch the previous T-800 trailer.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is now available on Nintendo Switch. For those of you with the vanilla version of the game, the Kombat Pack 2 DLC is also now available, which includes Rambo as a playable fighter.
