The new Level-5 cross-media mecha IP Megaton Musashi has had a rough development history, first being revealed in 2016 before a long hiatus until a December 2019 re-reveal. As part of TGS 2020, Level-5 has shared some long-awaited gameplay footage via a bunch of new videos, though it’s worth noting they are all in Japanese.

First up we have a general trailer, which gives a comprehensive overview of everything from the story to the giant mecha battles themselves.

While a release date is still unannounced, an anime has been confirmed to be airing in summer 2021. It’s also worth noting that the mobile versions are no longer listed on the official website, but the PS4 and Switch versions of the game are still going ahead as planned.

Hopefully it won’t be long before we get more concrete details regarding the game!
