During yesterday’s Dragon Ball FighterZ Show the focus was placed firmly on the game’s online competitive roadmap, but as promised a new trailer dropped revealing the next playable character. Oft requested and one of the series’ oldest characters (both in and out of universe), it’s none other than the Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi.
Goku and Krillin’s martial arts teacher has been around since Dragon Ball and all the way through Super, where he was able to step back into the ring with his multitude of techniques and experience. The brief glimpse demonstrates both his goofy personality and one of his trademark abilities, the Evil Containment Wave.
Master Roshi will release sometime in September, with another Dragon Ball FighterZ Show planned next month to showcase him further.
