Min Min announced as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's next DLC fighter | Nintendo Wire

After months of guessing and speculation, we finally know who the ARMS fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is! Slurping up the competition and serving up her well earned popularity, it’s none other than the Ramen Bomber – Min Min!

The contents of Challenger Pack #6 — Min Min, her stage “Spring Stadium,” and 18 music tracks — were revealed this morning as part of a Mr. Sakurai Presents presentation.

Featuring dedicated buttons for her two ARMS, changeable types of punches, and plenty more mechanics, she’s looking to fit right in as a unique fighter that captures the spirit of her source. The trailer itself is a scramble for the Smash invitation from multiple fighters, and features Kirby and Captain Falcon as guest stars.

On picking Min Min as the playable representative from ARMS, series director Masahiro Sakurai stated that while he was also interested in ARMS character Ninjara, he ultimately chose Min Min at the request of ARMS producer Kosuke Yabuki.

“Now, you might ask why Min Min out of all the fighters from ARMS?” Sakurai says in Min Min’s reveal video. “To be honest, it’s because Mr. Yabuki, the producer of ARMS, said, ‘I want Min Min.’ I was actually thinking of Min Min too, but also Ninjara.”

Challenger Pack #6 will be available to download for Fighters Pass Vol. 2 owners starting June 29th; it can also be purchased separately for $5.99 USD.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
