February 27 is always a big day for Pokémon, being the anniversary of Pokémon Red & Green’s release date in Japan, and this year is no different. On top of a special Raid Battle being planned for Sword & Shield and events expected in Pokémon GO and Masters, a brand-new mythical Pokémon will be revealed.
The mythical Pokémon will be promoted as part of the advertising for the next Pokémon movie, subtitled Coco. Presumably the Pokémon will be added into Sword & Shield via a patch, or will be featured in the upcoming Expansion Pass.
