Upcoming enhanced remaster Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition’s release date may have been revealed by Danish retailer CoolShop, with the storefront listing the title with a May 29th, 2020 launch.

This information was reported by gaming news source GameXplain, which also noted that CoolShop has a “history of listing games early.”

CoolShop previously leaked the existence of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in 2017 — the very first listing of that game, according to GameXplain.

GameXplain’s Jon Cartwright speculates that the potential May release date could point towards an imminent general Nintendo Direct in which the release date could be revealed, which would explain how CoolShop would have this information ahead of time.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, a high-definition remaster of the 2010 Wii original, was announced during last year’s September Nintendo Direct; since then, no additional information about the game has emerged.

What do you think? Is this a baseless rumor, or could this have some teeth? Let us know in the comments!
