It’s been a wild ride these past few weeks for Assassin’s Creed on Switch. First, retailers listed a mysterious compilation for Switch, and then a month later another retailer suggested it would include Assassin’s Creed III and the Vita spin-off Liberation, complete with box-art. Then, just a few days ago, the two games were announced for PS4 and Xbox One as Assassin’s Creed III Remastered, potentially throwing cold water on a Switch port. But now? Ubisoft itself has listed the title for Switch via its website.

As Twitter user AwesomePlatter discovered, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered’s Ubisoft Club page, which requires a log-in to view, listed the title for Switch.

However, since this initial image was captured, the page has been updated to remove the reference to Switch. It’s possible the game is scheduled to be announced as part of this week’s rumored Nintendo Direct, but we’ll have to wait and see!
