As we approach the end of August, many of us were starting to wonder just when the first wave of Sega Ages titles (Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV) would hit Switch. Now, it’s been confirmed that the two titles have been pushed back into September for “quality improvement.”

Considering the games aren’t straight ports this makes some sense. Sonic the Hedgehog, for instance, is adding in the option to use Sonic Mania’s Drop Dash.

Here’s hoping this delay doesn’t totally throw off the rest of the release schedule, as just last week the classic Master System RPG Phantasy Star was also slated for September.
