If you haven’t yet taken the time to dive into the world of Death Squared, you’ll soon have a new opportunity to do just that. SMG Studio just announced on Twitter that a demo for Death Squared on Switch has officially been approved by Nintendo.

Keeping the current, steady stream of indie titles on Switch in mind, it shouldn’t be too long until we see the demo available in the eShop. We’ll make sure to keep you posted on when this happens so you can try your hand at this incredibly well done cube-based puzzle game.

We’d like to point out that Death Squared won Nintendo Wire’s Indie Game of the Year 2017 Award, beating out all of the team’s other favorite titles due to its incredible ability to consistently challenge and entertain groups of people. Whether you’re a frequent puzzle player or a novice, this is one game we think you’ll enjoy.

While you wait for the demo, we highly recommend you check out our review for Death Squared. Puzzle game addict and gaming journalist Jaxson Tapp raved about SMG Studio’s remarkable title, proclaiming that the developer has “proven that they understand the concept of accomplishing a lot by using a whole lot less.”
