Looking to grab some games that will get you in a spooky mood this Halloween season? Look no further than the treats that Nintendo is offering up on the eShop in their Screaming Deals sale, offering up to 75% off select titles that (mostly) fit right in with the ghouls, ghosts, and goblins that October is known for. The Screaming Deals eShop sale is live now and lasts through October 31st at 11:59 p.m. PT.
What’s worth getting from the Screaming Deals eShop sale?
There are a few really bright spots in the Screaming Deals sale, including Animal Well – its dark atmosphere and winding twists and turns with “terrors that occupy its depths” makes it perfect for this time of year – which you can grab for $17.49.
You can never go wrong with zombies when it comes to the scariest time of the year, and Resident Evil Requiem’s Deluxe Edition is also on sale for $55.99, and according to our own Reece Heather, it’s “some of the best that Resident Evil has to offer.
The delightfully devilish Cult of the Lamb is 60% off during the sale, and several Castlevania titles are available in the Castlevania Collections Bundle, which is 40% off. Speaking of Castlevania, you can pick up Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castelvania and the Vampire Survivors base game, both for 20% off.
While not exactly spooky, per se, you can get a handful of monster-focused games with the Monster Hunter titles that are on sale, with Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Deluxe and the Monster Hunter Stories Deluxe Collection both part of the Screaming Deals sale at 75% off and 72% off, respectively.
Want to settle in with a lengthy RPG as the weather get colder and colder? You can pick up Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition for $34.99, Persona 3 Reload Digital Deluxe Edition for $41.99, or Persona 5 Royal, which in my opinion “is a no-brainer” to pick up on Switch, for just $17.99.
Other excellent games for fall available during the sale include Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition Complete Edition, FATAL FRAME: Maiden of Black Water, Night in the Woods, and Death’s Door.
There are several other titles available in this sale – some spooky, some not-so-spooky – with 68 games across 73 listings receiving some kind of discount, so make sure you take a look at the full Screaming Deals page to see if there are any treats you’d like to trick your wallet into paying less for. Remember, this sale is now underway but the deals will only be available until the end of the month, on October 31st, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
