Six new additions to the LEGO Pokémon range have been revealed, featuring fan-favorite creatures and introducing the first minifigures to the line.

Arcanine, Munchlax, and Rayquaza now have their own dedicated sets, and there is a giant Poké Ball build that can be opened up, Polly Pocket-style, to reveal a dioramic scene. There is also a minifigure key chain of Gen 1 protagonist Red.

The full lineup, along with piece amounts and pricing, are listed below:

All items except for the Red Key Chain (which is “coming soon”) can be pre-ordered now from the LEGO Store website. Arcanine, Munchlax, Rayquaza, will ship from August 1st, while Up-Scaled Red and the Poké Ball will ship from October 1st.

Once built, the Arcanine, Munchlax, Rayquaza, and Red sets can be articulated and posed in different ways. Inside the Poké Ball are detailed scenes of Professor Oak’s laboratory and a Pokémon battle between Red and another Trainer.

These new products are notable for introducing the first-ever official Pokémon minifigures, with Red, Picnicker, Professor Oak, Pikachu, and Eevee figures in the Poké Ball set and a Zinnia figure in the Rayquaza set.

Just last month, LEGO Group design director Siddharth Muthyala said that the toy company had previously avoided producing Pokémon minifigures “because children are the Trainers.”

The official Pokémon LEGO range began early this year with the Eevee set, the Pikachu and Poké Ball set, and the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set. Those were followed by 12 SMART Play-compatible builds featuring Charizard, Gengar, Mewtwo, and more.
