Following a new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override at this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, Capcom announced a crossover between the game and its action-adventure hit Pragmata.
Pragmata’s new downloadable content will have protagonist Hugh Williams kitted out as the Blue Bomber himself, while robot sidekick Diana will receive a costume based on Mega Man support character Roll.
There is not yet a specific release date for the skins, which Capcom said are “coming soon.”
Leading up to Pragmata’s release, many speculated that the game was secretly a Mega Man reboot. Capcom debunked the theory in a 2025 interview with VGC.
“Pragmata is not a Mega Man game,” laughed Pragmata producer Naoto Oyama. “It is a completely new game from Capcom.
“I was actually one of the producers on the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection as well, so I’m happy to see that people who love Mega Man are passionate about Pragmata too. From my standpoint, it’s nice to see people are being so positive about it.”
Pragmata is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Nintendo Wire’s glowing review of the game stated: “For anyone looking for an enjoyable, unique, dense single-player experience, Pragmata is a godsend.”
Mega Man: Dual Override will launch on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2027.
