An abundance of gameplay footage for the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake is available on the game’s official Japanese website, showing many elements that were not broadcast in this month’s Zelda Direct presentation.
The material has been public for a while, though it appears to have largely slipped under the radar when it comes to the gaming news sphere. For those who missed it, the website has multiple pages containing tons of videos, screenshots, and character key art.
It’s divided into five “chapters,” with the first showing a snippet of the cutscene explaining the origins of the Triforce and the second showing screenshots of Link at the beginning of his journey. Chapter 3 is where it gets interesting, as this page shows more footage of the game’s iconic locations, including Kokiri Forest, Goron City, Zora’s Domain, and Castle Town.
Chapter 4 is another highlight, teasing clips of the game’s first four dungeons (Inside the Great Deku Tree, Dodongo’s Cavern, Inside Jabu-Jabu’s Belly, and the Forest Temple) as well as demonstrating the Fairy Slingshot and Hookshot in action.
Finally, Chapter 5 has combat montages of Link fighting arrays of enemies, including Wolfos, Lizalfos, Leevers, Beamos, Stalfos, Deku Babas, Tektites, Bari, and Shell Blades.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5th, 2026. Pre-orders are available now on Amazon.
