Splatoon Raiders is only a few weeks away from release, so Nintendo is ramping up its promotional campaign with an in-store demo for players to sample. For shoppers in the US and Canada, Nintendo Switch 2 demo kiosks in Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop should now have a playable slice of this spin-off Splatoon adventure to sample.

Stated to have three levels and a variety of weapons, it seems like a rather generous demo. I’m not sure why Nintendo hasn’t uploaded it to the eShop for play at home, but then last month’s Star Fox got a separate in-store demo from the at home one. Maybe next week, Nintendo will do something similar.

Splatoon Raiders recently got a 15-minute Nintendo Direct presentation, which went over a good deal of what it will contain. It seems like a solid expansion of the Splatoon formula that takes the foundation of “Salmon Run” and crafts a campaign around that. Hopefully, it has enough gas in the tank to last as a standalone title.
