As is typical with Nintendo, the company has shadow-dropped a new demo for Rhythm Heaven Groove on the eShop. Announced via the Nintendo Today! App, there’s no mention of how many mini-games this demo features. The description reads:
“The Rhythm Heaven Groove: Starter Demo is now available. Try out rhythm games like the single-player Hoop Trundling and the multiplayer Rhythm Tweezers.”

I guess that means there are at least two things you can try, which is the loneliest number since the number one. Upon playing the demo, though, it does confirm that there are 80 solo games and 30 multiplayer ones, which is a lot more than I expected.
Rhythm Heaven Groove release date
Rhythm Heaven Groove is scheduled for a July 2nd, 2026, release on Nintendo Switch. It will retail for $39.99, which is about right for the amount of content included. It will be interesting to see if it has any Switch 2 enhancements, though I’m not sure what would need enhancing here.
You can pre-order your copy at Amazon or GameStop today!
