In a report from TechNadu, it has been written that a hacker going by the name of SHADOWBYT3$ has claimed to have breached Nintendo’s security and stolen around 859 MB worth of data from the company’s TINYpulse systems. According to the individual, they’ve pulled data including employee names, email addresses, analytics reports, W-9 forms, bank statement PDFs, and even workplace feedback.
As TechNadu understands, the claim of hacking was sent on June 13th, 2026, though it hasn’t been verified by Nintendo. The company has had data breaches in the past, so it’s very plausible that another would occur. The hacker stated it would give Nintendo 48 hours to respond before leaking the data, which puts the deadline at some point today, June 15th.
As the hacker writes, they were able to access Nintendo’s systems via TINYpulse, which is a system used to log employee engagement and workplace feedback across various companies. This lends some credibility to their claims as TINYpulse would store all the listed information. Whatever the motivation behind the hack, if it did happen, we’re bound to hear about it from Nintendo in the coming hours.
