A free playable demo for the upcoming Star Fox 64 remake is now available for Nintendo Switch 2 owners.
The announcement was made during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, which briefly showed footage of the game before revealing that the demo would arrive on the eShop “later today.” As of this writing, it is available now.

Star Fox on Switch 2 release date
Star Fox will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25th, 2026. You can pre-order the game on Amazon or GameStop.
