Following a bunch of indie game trailers, Koei Tecmo delivered a new trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment that confirmed the game will be hitting Nintendo Switch 2 this year. Scheduled for release on November 6th, 2025, this latest Warriors title will be packing all the features you’d expect from the series. There is split screen co-op, Game Share for local friends, and tons of characters to unlock as you progress through the campaign.
There really wasn’t much else the trailer showed off that we didn’t already know. It’s mostly surprising the game is releasing so soon as, until today, Koei Tecmo had stated it might slip into early 2026. I suppose development went smoother than anyone could have anticipated, which is perfectly fine. I need some more Hyrule Warriors in my life.
