Fighting game fans are in for a treat this April. With the recent release of Guilty Gear Strive: Nintendo Switch Edition, Arc System Works has announced a concert in Japan on April 5th, 2025. Guilty Gear Strive Music Live will be a two hour live concert featuring many of the vocal themes heard in the video game. Performances by vocalists NAOKI and AISHA can be expected, so yes, there will be Smell of The Game in all its memey glory.

If you’re interested in watching from home, global streaming tickets will be available through Lawson Ticket for approximately $30 apiece USD. Attending the event in person will cost you a little more at approximately $60 USD and, of course, the necessary travel accommodations.

Arc Systems Works is holding an early pre-sale lottery for tickets, but it’s currently unclear whether the tickets are for streaming or in person attendance. Either way, if you’re interested you’ll have a chance to enter from January 31st through sometime in February. (Thanks, Siliconera.)

Guilty Gear Strive is experiencing one heck of a second wind in 2025, four years on from its original release in June 2021. If you’re a Guilty Gear fan, this is your “Fearless: Year of Shadow.”
