The games that started it all are finally making their way to Nintendo Switch. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic, a port of RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2, will be released on December 5th, courtesy of Atari. Tycoon Classic combines elements of both games, allowing players to build to their heart’s content.

The timing for the release is a little strange as Tycoon Classic first released on mobile back in 2016, with a PC version releasing a year later. For the Switch version to release seven years later at the end of its timeline is wild, but according to Atari VP Ethan Stearns, fans have been wanting this version for a long time and it’s finally happening. It’s part of a year-long celebration for the franchise to honor the 25th anniversary of the original’s release.
