As the holiday season approaches and more and more new games are on the horizon, it can be tough to decide which to try out. Thankfully, when release dates grow near, trailers covering them in increasing detail become more and more common. Just this morning a new trailer for one of the most anticipated games on the horizon, Dragon Quest III HD-2D, was shown off. With this entry in the series only one month away, there’s plenty of information to gather from this six-minute overview.

The trailer serves to cover a wide array of information for the game. It begins by setting the scene for this iconic story to finish the quest Ortega started and defeat Baramos. The trailer dives deeper into the vocations system, including more information for the much-anticipated Monster Wrangler class first seen in Dragon Quest X. Furthermore, several quality-of-life features from the modern entries such as assigning tactics and battle speed are shown off to be present in the remake. Towards the end there’s also some more information on the Monster Arena mode, showing off the player collecting monsters in the field and battling with them.

Between all of these details as well as how beautiful the environments look and the symphonic soundtrack, our excitement for the game grows ever greater with each passing day. The release date is set for November 14th, and pre-orders are available right now! If you’ve never given the Dragon Quest series a try, this game is the perfect place to start. If you enjoy it, then you can look forward to the remakes of the first two games coming later as well!
