Nintendo of America has just announced that the demo for the upcoming game Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club will be available on Nintendo Switch starting August 19 at 6 PM PT.

According to the announcement, the demo will let players experience the opening chapters of the game, with additional chapters set to release on August 22 and August 27. As with other Switch demos, any progress made in the trial version can be carried over to the full game upon its release on August 29.
