It may have been obvious to fans that the upcoming film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 would be taking some elements from the 2001 Dreamcast title Sonic Adventure 2, but the connections might be going deeper than anticipated. In a new interview with GamesRadar+, Sonic 3 producer Toby Ascher that the film isn’t stopping at simply featuring Shadow the Hedgehog: it will borrow even more from the game.

“It’s going to be this giant, fun, incredible movie,” Ascher tells GamesRadar+, “that obviously takes a lot from Sonic Adventure 2 and some of the games that I know the core Sonic Team grew up loving.” One of those other connections happens to be Crush 40’s song “Live and Learn,” which served as the theme song to Sonic Adventure 2 and will feature in the film.
