Nintendo is prepping the theatre marquee for Princess Peach Showtime’s March 22nd debut. A new trailer has been released this morning detailing some new roles that Peach will take on in her curtain call this Spring.
Which roles have been previously revealed for Princess Peach Showtime?
Up until the new trailer, we had only been shown 5 roles: Samurai Peach, Patisserie Peach, Swordfighter Peach, Detective Peach and Kung-Fu Peach. As the trailers have shown, the roles are more than just different costumes. They affect gameplay styles, giving Princess Peach Showtime! a unique setup.
What are the 2 new roles in Princess Peach Showtime?
The new trailer opens up showing off Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach, making for a total of 7 different roles for Peach thus far.
Ninja Peach can be seen running aggressively across the stage before sneaking up through a patch of grass on an unsuspecting enemy, hiding behind a leaf. I’m personally partial to the nifty green and black scarf Ninja Peach comes equipped with. Though the glass root beer bottle and baggy western pair of jeans that Cowgirl Peach dons are also a nice touch.
We can see Cowgirl Peach lassoing various small enemies in what looks like a collecting minigame. It seems we will be getting a variety of different activities to participate in.
What kind of game is Princess Peach Showtime?
The Nintendo eShop page for Princess Peach Showtime! describes the game as such:
