The Game Awards show is full of reveals and announcements, but typically they’re on a one-by-one basis. Tonight Sega decided to quintuple those expectations by revealing five new games in fan-favorite franchises:

All in one video, Sega showed the return of the following:

  • Jet Set Radio
  • Crazy Taxi
  • Shinobi
  • Golden Axe
  • Streets of Rage

Four out of five of those haven’t been touched in years, if not decades, with only SoR getting some love by the more contemporary and not developed by Sega Streets of Rage 4.

Details, such as platforms and release dates, weren’t disclosed, so consider this a full-on hype trailer. And honestly, after all the nebulous talk of “super games” and plans for the future, it’s so reassuring to see Sega come out swinging with things that longtime loyalists have been clamoring for.

Stay tuned for details on all five of these going forward, hopefully with Nintendo Switch confirmations along the way.
