Just over five years after Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun launched on the Nintendo Switch, Bandai Namco is removing the game from the Nintendo eShop and discontinuing physical sales. In a tweet concerning the delisting, Bandai Namco thanked fans for their support and enjoyment of the title and “kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.”

Fans were also encouraged to “continue the drumming fun” by purchasing Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival on Nintendo Switch, which launched in September of last year.

Switch owners who purchased Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun should still be able to play the game after November 30th, but no clarification is made regarding the ability to redownload the game should you need to. Rest assured that the DLC for the game will remain on sale, and any previously purchased DLC will remain available to download for the time being.
