It’s Halloween and fittingly Nintendo has added a trio of games featuring the likes of aliens, demons, and vampires to the standard Nintendo Switch Online selection!

For the NES library we have two games that originally skipped North America. Demon World, a game directed by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto that only saw a release in Japan and Europe, plus The Mysterious Murasame Castle which only released in Japan.

As for the Game Boy addition, it’s Castlevania Legends, a 1997 release which pitched itself as the first game in the series before being declared non-canon years later. Notably it was the only Game Boy Castlevania title not to be bundled with the Anniversary Collection, meaning it’s now possible to play all of them on the Switch.

You can play all of these games on the Nintendo Switch now if you’re an NSO subscriber!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
