Well here’s something unusual – the very first glimpse we ever got at the Nintendo Switch back seven years ago in October 2016 is no longer available. The video has been taken off their YouTube page, presumably made private.
Why would they do this? Some think it’s a banal matter of music licensing, while others are more conspiratorial, pointing to Nintendo taking down reveals for the Switch Lite and OLED right before they showed off new shinier products – the implication being that a Switch 2 reveal is imminent. This is pretty speculative evidence of that, so we’ll have to keep our “wait and see” approach.
