Nintendo has created a helpful site for Splatoon fans called the Splatoon Base, a super handy port for all things inky and fresh. Even better, while it’s a Japanese site, it’s still available to read in English! And just today, the site’s announced an all-new page dedicated to the series called History that details the first game’s arrival in 2014 all the way through where we are today with Splatoon 3 in 2023. Overall, it’s a pretty fun and helpful page that’s sure to delight every Squid Kid and Octoling who browses it.

Other highlights on the History page include the first Turf War, the Global Testfire in 2015, the Squid Sisters releasing their album, the release of Splatoon 2, and… well, so much more! If you’re a fan of fresh, you definitely need to check it all out.

The entire Splatoon Base is worth a browse, quite honestly. You’ll get to look over details about Splatoon’s World, its Characters, Fashion, Music, Story, and a Gallery of gorgeous imagery!
