The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a generally more difficult game than its predecessor, with harder hitting enemies, more need to scrounge for weapons, and the Gloom mechanics in the Depths. But there is one way in which it’s a lighter romp: no Guardians. The notorious Breath of the Wild enemies that rained lasers of explosive death are nowhere to be seen in the new Hyrule… until now.

Now, this Guardian is friendly to Link (given that he constructed it himself), and also not outfitted with death beams (although it could be), but the way it shambles around is surprisingly close to the real thing despite being glued together with Ultrahand parts. Just one of a hundred amazing contraptions TotK players have come up with… though we can imagine this design being improved upon. Maybe it’ll help Link fight Ganon—wait, that didn’t go well last time.
