Continuing a long line of people who are engaging in an in-universe scientific revolution through their sheer mastery of the game’s Ultrahand mechanics, a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player named Zaytri has built a contraption that achieves essentially infinite height via swapping between Zonai and electrical power:

The construct is made with a steering stick, basic square wooden platform, a shock emitter, four motors and four propellers, and four giant boomerangs fused with electric batteries. What this does is propel the platform upward without weighing too much, and adding enough electric power to keep on going until your Zonai charge is no longer on cooldown. You’ll lose a bit of height along the way, but it’s all just part of the great ascent.

This is definitely one of the most impressive and compact pieces of engineering we’ve seen from players of the game. We can’t wait to see what physics-defying oddity they make next.
