Today’s Indie World Showcase gave Nintendo fans the world over a good look at upcoming Nintendo Switch indie titles, including the much-anticipated Oxenfree II: Lost Signals. Originally announced just over two years ago in an Indie World Showcase, the game has been delayed twice, but today’s presentation finally gave fans a trailer alongside a solid release date: July 12th, 2023.

I got a great look at a preview of Oxenfree II: Lost Signals back in October of 2021, and from today’s trailer, it looks like the release delays have given the Night School Studios team time to really polish the game in the year and a half since then. Oxenfree was one of my favorite indie releases from the last decade, and I can’t wait to see what the sequel has in store. You can pre-order Oxenfree II: Lost Signals for Nintendo Switch today on the Nintendo eShop.
