Nostalgia is the greatest graphics filter of all, but sometimes a head-to-head comparison can illuminate the real sharper image – such is the case with this head-to-head graphical comparison for Pokémon Stadium on the N64 vs. the Switch, courtesy of GameXplain:

 

 

In general, the Switch image is brighter and shaper than that on the N64, though that can serve to highlight more of the low-res graphics. The frame rate for the two is also roughly equivalent, so you won’t see a massive difference from that angle.
