Late last year, Falcom announced that it would be releasing a fresh remaster of Ys: The Oath in Felghana, itself a 2005 remake of the third entry in the iconic JRPG series.
We’ve finally gotten our first look at gameplay from the upcoming release and it appears to maintain the originals approach of pre-rendered sprites on a 3D background. Give it a watch:
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana launches for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 27th, 2023. An all new entry, Ys X: Nordics, will arrive later in the year.
