The world of Minecraft is very versatile, especially when it comes to its DLC packs. These can often be more experimental than you’d expect, bolting new mechanics and systems onto the existing engine in interesting ways. Just look at the speedy Sonic pack, for example!
Now it’s time for Mega Man to get his turn… X, to be precise.
In the Mega Man X DLC for Minecraft you can play as the blue bomber and venture through various iconic stages from the original game and battle four mavericks – Chill Penguin, Storm Eagle, Armored Armadillo, and Sting Chameleon. This is all topped off by a fight through Sigma’s lair, naturally.
14 skins will also be included which can be used outside of the DLC, and it’s not just limited to the X subseries, with Roll, Dr. Wily, Bass, and more being available.
The Mega Man X DLC can be bought via the Minecraft Marketplace now.
