UPDATE – February 8th, 2023, 3:30 P.M. PT: These games are now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

 


 

Nintendo Switch Online is getting a bit bigger, with Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games headed to the service later today.

The news was shared during this afternoon’s Nintendo Direct along with a list of launch titles and those coming soon.

 

 

The initial line-up of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games includes:

 

  • Tetris
  • Super Mario Land 2 – 6 Golden Coins
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
  • GARGOYLE’S QUEST
  • Game & Watch Gallery 3
  • Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
  • Metroid II – Return of Samus
  • Wario Land 3
  • Kirby’s Dream Land

 

Future Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles shown include:

 

  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
  • Pokémon Trading Card Game
  • Kirby: Tilt ‘n’ Tumble

 

Game Boy Advance games will only be available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.

The launch line-up of GBA games includes:

 

  • Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
  • WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$
  • Kuru Kuru Kururin
  • Mario Kart: Super Circuit
  • Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

 

Future GBA titles headed to the service include:

 

  • Metroid Zero Mission
  • Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
  • Fire Emblem
  • F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
  • Golden Sun

 

NSO and NSO + Expansion Pack members can play these games by downloading both the Game Boy – Nintendo Switch Online and Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online applications from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
