Octopath Traveler II is just around the corner so it’s a perfect time to reflect on the wide array of 2DHD games Square Enix has released for the Switch. One of the more intriguing experiments with the style was Triangle Strategy, which swapped the traditional JRPG gameplay with tactical battles from an isometric perspective.

It turns out Switch owners were interested, too, as Square Enix has confirmed that the game has sold 1 million units across shipments and downloads. This includes both the Switch and PC versions, released this year.

To mark the occasion, a new piece of artwork has been shared, which you can check out below:

As a celebration Triangle Strategy is reduced by 40% in certain regions, so if you want to go on an adventure across Norzelia there’s no better time.
