Out of the blue a new update has dropped for Nintendo Switch Online’s Sega Genesis app, bringing with it four new retro games!
The selection is quite the eclectic one, but perhaps the biggest game of the bunch is Columns. This puzzler can be seen as Sega’s answer to Tetris in many ways, with the player tasked with matching coloured blocks, though the methods of clearing them is much different.
Other games included are Alien Storm, Golden Axe II, and the bizarre 2D conversion of the seminal 3D fighting game Virtua Fighter 2. Check them all out in the trailer below:
